About Us
Still here; Still fighting; Still creating;
This is more than a brand – it’s a movement born from the reality of living with invisible illness in a world that demands visible proof of pain.
How Allergic to Life Came to Life?
Born from frustration, fueled by determination, and built on the belief that invisible doesn't mean imaginary.
It started with a simple yet profound realization: millions of people live with chronic illnesses, autoimmune conditions, mental health struggles, and other invisible battles, yet the world often demands proof of pain that can’t be seen.
The fashion industry, like many others, has largely ignored this community. Where were the brands that understood what it meant to look “fine” on the outside while fighting battles on the inside? Where was the representation for those who needed to cancel plans, who lived with unpredictable symptoms, who were tired of explaining themselves?
Allergic to Life was born from this gap – a need for authentic representation, for clothing that speaks to real experiences, and for a community that understands that strength comes in many forms.

My Story
The personal journey behind the brand – raw, honest, and unapologetically real.
Allergic to Life was born from pain, resilience, and a desire to feel seen.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my mental health — anxiety, complex PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, and borderline personality disorder. Each one has shaped the way I see the world and the way I create.
For years, I fought battles no one could see. My mind became a storm, and my body soon followed. Seven years ago, I began breaking out in hives that burned and itched until I could barely function. After months in and out of hospitals, I was finally recommended to a specialist for allergy testing.
After all the tests came back negative, my specialist sat me down and said, “The only thing it could be is your stress levels.” It made a lot of sense, and that’s when I turned around and said, “So basically you’re telling me I’m allergic to life?” We both had a little giggle — and that’s when the light bulb went off.
That moment became the spark that would eventually grow into something much bigger.
💜 Allergic to Life is more than clothing — it’s a voice for those living with invisible illnesses and mental health.
Through streetwear that blends grit and softness, we turn struggles into armour.
Each piece is a reminder that you’re still here — and that’s powerful.
Allergic to Life is for anyone who’s ever been dismissed, misunderstood, or told their pain isn’t real.
It’s for the people who fight battles the world doesn’t see — the ones who wake up every day and still try.
My designs are loud because our struggles are silent. My colors are bold because our stories deserve to be seen.
This brand is my therapy, my rebellion, and my truth — and hopefully, it becomes a voice for others who are fighting to be heard.
Because being “Allergic to Life” isn’t about giving up.
It’s about surviving it — one day, one design, one voice at a time.
“We wear struggles like armour.”
This isn’t just our tagline – it’s our truth. Every struggle has made us stronger, every challenge has taught us resilience, and every day we choose to keep going is a victory.
Allergic to Life – The Story
The raw, unfiltered truth behind the brand that refuses to stay silent.
“You don’t look sick.”
Four words that have haunted millions of us. Four words that dismiss, invalidate, and silence. Four words that sparked a revolution disguised as a clothing brand.
Allergic to Life wasn’t born in a boardroom or from market research. It was born from rage. Rage at a world that demands visible proof of invisible pain. Rage at having to justify why I couldn’t make it to dinner, why I needed to leave early, why some days getting dressed felt like climbing Mount Everest.
I was tired of being allergic to my own life – allergic to making plans because my body might betray me, allergic to explaining myself to people who would never understand, allergic to a society that treats invisible illness like a character flaw rather than a medical reality.
THE BREAKING POINT
The Moment Everything Changed
Every story has a breaking point — that moment when everything feels too heavy to carry.
For me, it wasn’t one single crash — it was years of silent battles slowly building until my body finally said, enough.
The stress, the trauma, the weight of being unseen — it all surfaced at once.
My mind spiraled, my skin erupted, and I was left covered in hives I couldn’t explain.
That was the moment I broke — and began again.
Where Pain Meets Purpose
That breaking point became the spark that lit Allergic to Life.
It was the moment I stopped hiding my struggle and started turning it into something real.
Something people could see, wear, and feel.
This brand was born in that space between falling apart and standing back up —
because that’s where real strength is found.
Millions of us are walking around with invisible battles. Autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, mental health struggles, neurological conditions – we’re everywhere, but we’re invisible. Not because our conditions aren’t real, but because society has taught us to hide them.
Fashion has always been about identity, about making statements, about belonging. But where were the brands for us? Where were the designs that captured the complexity of looking “normal” while feeling anything but? Where was the representation for the warriors who fight battles no one can see?
The Reality
- 1 in 2 adults live with a chronic condition
- 96% of chronic illnesses are invisible
- Most of us have been told we “don’t look sick”
- We’re tired of explaining ourselves
The Vision
- Clothing that speaks our truth
- Community that understands
- Conversations that matter
- Visibility for the invisible
So I started designing. Not pretty, inspirational quotes about “staying strong.” Not sanitized, palatable messages about “wellness.” I designed pieces that screamed the truth: that we’re here, we’re struggling, and we’re not going to apologize for it anymore.
"Allergic to Life" isn't just a brand name.
It’s a diagnosis. It’s a feeling. It’s the exhaustion of living in a world that wasn’t built for bodies like ours. But it’s also a declaration: we’re allergic to staying silent, allergic to being invisible, allergic to accepting less than we deserve.
Every design tells a story. Every piece is a conversation starter. Every purchase is a vote for visibility, for understanding, for a world where invisible doesn’t mean imaginary.
This brand is my middle finger to everyone who ever made me feel like my pain wasn’t real enough, my struggles weren’t valid enough, my story wasn’t worth telling. But more than that, it’s my love letter to everyone who has ever felt the same way.
We wear our struggles like armour.
Not because we want to be defined by them, but because we refuse to be ashamed of them.
Welcome to Allergic to Life. Welcome to the revolution. Welcome home.
